Dear PS Families,

Happy New Year!

January brings a ton of excitement to the entire school. Our Arts Partnerships are in full effect this month, as our second graders will begin their modern dance classes with Pascal Riuolt Dance Company and our third graders will continue to work on the one act plays with Circle in the Square. Our kindergartners are still dancing with Education in Dance.

The culmination of our Art/Music/Dance work can be seen in our amazing 5th grade musical production. This year our 5th graders will be presenting The Music Man, Jr. on January 27th at 6pm. It's sure to be one of our best productions, so bring the whole family for a free night of theatrical fun!

Be sure to take advantage of our Curriculum Connections which take place on various Mondays, and focus on different aspects of the PS11 Curriculum.

All families will also be receiving your child's portfolio this month. Please expect to see your child's portfolio in his/her backpack during the last week of the month. The portfolio is a powerful tool to show you how your child is progressing and I encourage you to review it carefully. Please also remember to return it to your child's teacher promptly. Thanks.
