AfterSchool at PS11

SPRING REGISTRATION for Afterschool classes is scheduled as follows:
• Tuesday, January 17th at 8:00am for Kindergarten-2nd Grade
• Thursday, January 19th at 8:00am for 3rd-5th Grade

Class Schedules are now available at PS11 Programs

The AfterSchool program is run by PS11 Programs Inc, a Community Board Organization which is separate from PS11. Classes are available to all PS11 students, and are offered every school day from 3:15–4:30pm and 4:45-6:00pm. Our program provides a safe, caring, creative and challenging learning environment that will support and encourage each student to develop to their fullest potential – socially, emotionally, intellectually and physically. We offer a partnership between school, home and the community with the responsibility to support our students in becoming independent members of society.

The program is offered every school day from 3:15-6:00 p.m. to children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. We have a variety of enrichment classes that provide children with opportunities to have new experiences, learn new skills and develop new friendships. The fees for the afterschool program are $16 per class (1 1/2 hours)/ $9.75 per class for families who meet the federal income guidelines for free lunch. Full and partial scholarships are available.

PS11 Programs Inc. also offers a summer program at PS11 that runs from July 6th through August 12th. The summer program is a wonderful opportunity for new students to get to know the school and the staff and become comfortable in the building before school begins in September.  For returning students, the camp is an enriching program intended to lessen the "summer learning loss" as well as engage students in a variety of physical and creative activities.
