- You! Every parent or legal guardian of a P.S.11 student is a member of the PTA.
- Who leads the PTA?
- The PTA Executive Board (EB) supports the school’s vision via fundraising, student enrichment, and community building. The EB are elected parent volunteers. Election held in Spring.
- What will be discussed during the General PTA Meetings?
- The meetings provide the principal’s update, current student enrichment information, school budget update & much more! All PTA members can vote on motions raised at general meetings.
- What will we be voting on during this upcoming meeting?
- Voting on revised budget for the 2025-2026 school year.
- Voting on Members-at-Large positions to serve on PTA EB for balance of the school year. Self-nominations are welcome!
- What is a Member-at-Large?
- We reserve 2 Member-at-large seats on our PTA Executive Board (EB) for new P.S.11 families. Open-ended role / pitch in where there’s a need. Attend monthly EB meetings & learn how the EB operates. Encouraged to run for EB positions the next school year.
- Who is eligible to be nominated as a Member-at-Large?
- Any parent/guardian new to P.S.11 for the 2025-2026 school year. If you are interested, we encourage you to self-nominate during the upcoming General PTA Meeting.
