| Young Artists Program: Returning teachers and interested volunteers, please indicate your interest in volunteering for the Young Artists Program by completing this form. This is a parent-led program of volunteer mentors who instruct weekly classes for small groups of students during lunchtime. The program runs for 8 weeks beginning in late January 2026. We need parent volunteers to lead or co-lead a class and assistants to help them (you do not have to be anywhere near a professional artist!). Do you love to knit, crochet, or do embroidery? Can you do origami or other paper folding crafts? Do you enjoy illustration or watercolor painting? Then this program is just for you! We are open to ideas and visual arts mediums, so don’t hesitate to reach out! The more volunteers we have, the more students who can participate in this fun, hands on, rewarding program. | Spring Gala Auction Volunteers: Help make P.S. 11’s biggest fundraiser of the year a success! We’re seeking enthusiastic volunteers to assist with our Spring Gala live and silent auctions. How You Can Help: As an auction volunteer, you’ll reach out to community members, local businesses, and personal contacts to gather donations of goods, services, vouchers, and gift cards. These valuable contributions will be auctioned off by the PTA during our Spring Gala, raising essential funds for our school. No Experience Required! We’ll provide all the guidance you need to make successful donation requests. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with our community while supporting P.S. 11’s educational programs. Even a few hours of your time can make a significant difference! | Performing Arts Team: We are always looking for volunteers for the 5th Grade show, from all grades! It certainly takes a village. Do you have experience with costumes/sewing, building/power tools/ creating set pieces or props, sound/lighting design, video filming/editing? WE NEED YOU! Don’t have experience? WE STILL NEED YOU!
