It’s that time of the year where we commemorate our amazing 5th grade students by purchasing an ad for the yearbook to highlight your student!
Every year, the PS11 Yearbook team allocates ad space in the yearbook to celebrate our 5th graders and their graduation from PS11. Each ad is personal and costs $150. If you are unable to purchase an AD but would like to design one for your child please email us directly at: [email protected].
Families create their own ad to showcase their child’s journey through primary school, or to send a family message of best wishes, or a general farewell message to PS11. Feel free to be creative and come up with something completely new! You can also purchase a ‘FRIEND’ Ad to showcase a group of friends. The cost is the same as a personal Ad.
All Ads are half page and cost $150. This fee will help to off-set the printing cost that is generously covered by the PTA. All yearbooks are free for every family. All Ad submissions must be accompanied by payment.
Deadline for submission is MONDAY APRIL 13th, 2026.
Pictavo has an AD creation software that allows you to purchase an AD as well as design the AD within the same software.
Directions for purchasing and creating an AD:
1. Click here or go to ybkpix.com.
2. Create your own personal account with an username and password. The school ID is 725575.
3. Click on the “BUY ADS” icon which is yellow.
4. Purchase your AD by filling out your purchasing details.
5. Once you’ve purchased your AD and you would like to edit your AD go to ACCOUNT (at the top of the page) then select MY AD and then select EDIT/SUBMIT. There are loads of template options for designing your AD.

If you would like to design the AD in Canva and then upload it to Pictavo these are the AD guidelines you must follow. Note: You still must follow the instructions above to purchase the AD. Once you’ve purchased the AD and you click on EDIT your AD you can then choose to upload your own AD.

Size: 7.5″ W x 5″ H half page ad (must be horizontal)
Resolution: 300 dpi (high res)
Pixel size: 2250px x 1275px
Color space: RGB or CMYK
File format: JPG, PDF, TIF, PNG
