Isha V (5th grade) and Jax K (5th grade) did a fantastic job at the Manhattan Spelling Bee on Thursday, January 29th. They both made it to the third round in a stiff competition, and were eliminated with only 11 competitors left standing, most of whom were middle school kids! The competition includes all students from 4th grade to 8th grade competing against each other. There are some incredibly difficult words included in the spelling competition and these two students stepped up to the challenge.
They were both extremely calm and collected under pressure, and we are so very proud of them for studying so hard, being so brave, and making it this far in the competition. Well done, Spellers!
