Thank you to everyone who helped make our Spring Gala & Auction a huge success. The evening was amazing and we raised a lot of money for our arts programming at PS11. We will have totals soon, so stay tuned.

Our online auction raised over $40,000!

Completed forms can be dropped off in the main office on 2nd floor in the "Auction" mailbox, or emailed back to ps11auction@gmail.com.

It's not too late to donate. With the recent loss of Title I funding, the enrichment programs our PTA supports for our children are at risk. Here's how you can help...We need every family to donate at least one auction item.

Suggestions for donations include:

  • Vacations (hotels, timeshares, weekend homes)
  • Tickets (Sporting Events, Theatre, TV Show Tapings),
  • Electronics (iPads, Kindles, Wii or XBox, MP3 players)
  • Camps
  • Autographed Collectibles
  • Designer Clothes, Handbags & Jewelry (must be new)
  • Health Clubs/Spas
  • Services (Stores, Salons, Photographers, Botox)
  • Unique Experiences (Plane rides, Private Tour, Celebrity Outings)
  • Use Your Skills! (legal advice, home cooked meals, crafting lessons)

PS11's largest fundraiser of the year is the Spring Auction and Gala. For the 2010-2011 school year our event raised over $100,000! We'd like to raise at least $150,00 this year. There are several pieces to our auction:

The Auction Gala will be Monday, May 14 at 6pm at Chelsea Piers Sunset Terrace.  This is a dress up, adult only night out, so line up those babysitters now. There will be eight tables of fabulous food provided by our favorite elegant eateries, a wine bar, specialty drinks, live music and flowers in a gorgeous room overlooking the Hudson River. 

There will be Silent Auction items for sale as well as a Live Auction with an auctioneer featuring high ticket items. Last year's Live Auction alone raised over $40,000!

There will also be an online auction which will begin on Monday, April 23 -- a few weeks before our Gala. Here we will have hundreds of items for sale and these items can be purchased by anyone -- a great chance for Grandma in California to support our school.

And we need team members to join us. This is a huge event. If you have a skill, whatever it is, please share it with the auction committee, contact Laura Josepher or Kristin Mannoni 2012 Auction Co-Chairs
