Due to decreased city, state, and federal funding, this will be our most challenging year yet to meet our financial needs. We have had a $300,000 shortfall, help us to keep PS11's wonderful programs:
Math and Literacy Programs ~ Swimming Pool ~ Ballroom Dancing ~ Theater Programs ~ Fall Festival ~ Art Department ~ Library ~  Classroom Books ~ Chess Club ~ Gym Equipment ~ Music Department ~  Field Trips ~ Welcoming Parties ~ Yearbooks and T-shirts for All Students ~ Graduation Celebrations ~ Lunch, Recess and Afterschool Programs ~ Greenmarket ~ Wellness in the Schools ~ Garden ~ Staff Appreciation ~ School Dances ~ and much more.  

The good news is, we can work together to reach our goals. Last year, the PTA spent approximately $397 per student. This year we are asking for a contribution of $500 per child to ensure we don't lose the programs that enrich our school.
 
If you can contribute more, either on your own or through a corporate matching program, please do! Your donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. If you are unable to contribute this much at this time, please give whatever you can, no matter how little. Strong parental participation, at any dollar level, is key to geting additional funding, so we need every family's participation to keep our programs going.
